Question 5: What Operating Systems does 232Analyzer software support?

Answer: 232Analyzer supports Microsoft® Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista

NOTES:
1) 232Analyzer requires Microsoft Windows Installer, which comes as a default with Windows 2000, XP and Vista. However, previous Operating Systems such as Windows 98 and Windows ME do not come with Windows Installer by default. If your OS is Windows 98 or ME and there is no Windows Installer installed on your PC, please download and install the Microsoft Windows Installer.

2) For Windows 98 or ME, if you encounter the problem of "Error Code 430 Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface", please download and install the MDAC_TYP.EXE file from Microsoft's website.

3) If you encounter the problem of "Data mis-display", please download and install the Service Pack or reinstall the driver of your USB/RS-232 converter if you are using Virtual COM port. Please note that 232Analyzer might not work with other remote control programs, such as VNC program.
